How Charles Schumer and Kristen Gillbrand ultimately assisted in granting a visa to this pedophile. According to NBC5 a group of 7th graders from Saranac Lake Middle School wrote to Senators Schumer and Gillibrand requesting assistance to grant visas to Tanveer Hussain, of Kashmir India, along with another competitor (prior to this event) later to be arrested after allegations of sexual abuse. According to DIYATV both 'senators then contacted the U.S. embassy in Delhi for more information. The Delhi embassy would not comment on the matter, saying only that Indian citizens are currently not affected by President Trump’s executive order.' Was it the 7th graders that prompted these Senators to contact the embassy in Delhi? Well, more likely the the mayor, Clyde Rabideau (D) likely was the chief influence. He has a very strong political (and business) presence in the North Country where politically he first served ten years as Mayor of the City of Plattsburgh. While Mayor, he was elected President of the New York Conference of Mayors and was a strong contender in the 1998 NYS Democratic Convention for the post of Lt. Governor. Thus, it is essentially unknown to the public as to why the visas were denied to begin with. The two were finally granted the visas after the Democrat's involvement. When arriving in Saranac Lake they were given celebrity status along with $1600 for traveling expenses from aggressive fund raising. All to help a Muslim (confirmed from DIYATV) that ended up sexually assaulting a child. You can't make this stuff up. Note: Gillibrand did release a statement expressing the seriousness of the charges. Sourced From NBC5
Mar 2, 2017 Liz Strzepa NBC5 Reporter ARANAC LAKE, N.Y. --Saranac Lake police reported that a snowshoe competitor from India has been arrested after allegations of sexual abuse. Authorities said Tanveer Hussain, 24, of Kashmir, India, was arrested Wednesday for that charge, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. Police said the charges stem from a "passionate kiss" with a 12-year-old student. Officers also said he inappropriately touched the girl over her clothing. The incident allegedly happened at a bed and breakfast about 5 p.m. Monday. A third party notified police about the alleged incident on Tuesday. There was no accusation of force, police said, and charges were a result of the victim's age. Police said Hussain was arraigned in St. Armand court and was being held at the Essex County jail Wednesday night on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. He has pleaded not guilty. Hussain was one of two competitors in the world snowshoe championships held in Saranac Lake last week. His friend called him wise and trustworthy. The two originally were denied visas to the United States, but a group of seventh-grade students wrote to New York Senators Kristen Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer for help. Two weeks later, Hussain got a visa and was able to compete in this past weekend's event. Gillibrand released a statement Thursday that said she thought the charges were "extremely serious," and that Hussain "should be fully prosecuted and, if found guilty, be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law." Hussain speaks Hindi and needed a translator to understand the charges and court proceedings. "I'm hoping that there's potential that this case could be resolved within the next couple of days and he can go back to India shortly," Hussain's attorney, Brian Barrett, said. "He is absolutely innocent until proven guilty." http://www.mynbc5.com/article/snowshoe-competitor-accused-of-sexually-abusing-a-minor/9082350 Addtional sources: Saranac Lake gives Indian snowshoers a warm welcome http://www.diyatvusa.com/2017/02/01/indian-muslim-athlete-tanveer-hussain-denied-us-visa/ http://www.saranaclakeny.gov/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={ACA6A998-69A2-4CB3-A760-235CD0A81068}
